Today’s High Point:
One of the ladies I work with got back from lunch and came right over to my desk. She whispered to me that she had committed robbery today. I asked her what happened and she opened her purse and pulled out two springrolls that she smuggled out of the restaurant where she and her family went for Thanksgiving.
And they were delightful.
She also told me all about her theivery processes, and how her children are now pretty sure that this behaviour will only get worse later on in life. It was probably one of those ‘you had to be there’ moments, but I still thought it would be fun to share.
Especially because apparently it is all my fault anyways. She told me yesterday that they were going out, so I asked her to bring me back some egg rolls.
I imagine that next time she will take me up on the ziplock bag suggestion.
